Hot summer day
Sumer is coming, it is very hot outside. It is a good time to swim. Of all the sports, swimming is my favorite. Firstly, it is beneficial to my health. It can make me stronger and more energetic, and help to keep me slim. Besides, it is a good feeling to jump into the cool water on a hot summer day.
In summer vacation, when I was a senior high school student, I get up early every morning and go swimming in the swimming pool in my neighborhood. During the holidays I like to go to the beach. Swimming in the sea is more fun than swimming in a pool: it is not as crowded, and with all the waves, swimming in it is more challenging and fun.

medical music night
Music night
May 22 is the medical music night. It is a concert played by medical department only. I also played the piano at the medical music night. My song is a combination. It contains many sections with different styles, such as romantic and jazz and so on. I practiced very hard but I still made a small mistake when I performed the song. But many of my friends said it is a good performance despite of a small mistake. Some of my classmate even did not heard of the mistake. I think it is a good chance for me to performed on stage.

teacher
Number 34 and 84 have a same “teacher”. But he is not really a teacher he is a doctor. His name “teacher” comes from an original custom, because he taught us many things about how to be a good and welcome doctor in the hospital. He is a surgeon, I think his work is not only difficult but also makes people tired and full of pressure. He treats us in a fancy restaurant, and taught us many things. I think if we can hear his words, we will proceed in short time.

We have learned many new chemistry techniques recently, and one of them is absorption spectroscopy. Absorption spectroscopy is a useful tool for performing both qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis on solution. A beam of light is passed through the sample and a plot made of the amount of light absorbed as a function of the wavelength of the light. The wavelength of maximal absorbance are, like melting point, characteristic of particular molecular species. They can be used to identify unknowns. The amount of light absorbed is directly proportional to the concentration of the absorbing species. It can be used to determine the amount of a species present in the sample. The absorption of light by molecules will only occur when the energy of the incident light is the same as that of a possible electronic transitions depend on the kinds of bonds present, it is possible to analyze the structure of the molecule by determining the spectrum of absorbed electronic energy.

Recently, teacher taught us about chemistry equilibrium. One of its main applications is ion exchange chromatography. Chromatography is a very common technique in the chemical laboratory and perhaps the most important technique we will learn in this course. There are many different ways to do chromatography, two of which were presented in Chemistry. The power of chromatopraphic techniques stems from the ability to separate materials based on rather small differences in chemical or physical properties. We saw how thin layer chromatography and paper chromatography rely on differences in solubilities to achieve separation. With this experiment we can see how equilibrium chemistry can be used for the same purpose with the technique known as ion exchange chromatography.

Recently, we have the biology experiment class in which we should dissect a frog. Although it is not smells good, we have to keep our experiment proceeding, because it is a good way for us to be better. In the future, we have to do the surgery. Frog dissection is a preliminary class for all of us. We should make good use of this chance, and be a excellent doctor in the future.

free writing
Today is my mother’s birthday. She is a talented woman. She can not only play the piano but also write articles. She have been studied music department and communicating department. I think she is a gifted mother. She taught me sing when I was a little boy. She tells some story of musicians to me before I sleep. Everyday she take me to school by car and send lunch to me. I love her very much. If I have accomplishment in the future, she is the first person I should say thanks. Because I can’t achieve my goal without her support and encouragement. Of course, I will return to her in reality. Now, I should study hard and take care of myself. After I graduated from medical school, I would give fifty percent of my salary to her. My dream is to let my mother do whatever she likes when I can afford, because she sacrificed so much just in order to provide me everything needed, and it’s my turn to play that role. If possible, let me be your mother in our next lifetime, and I love you so much that I don’t even know how to express my love to you. In my mind, Mom is the angel in my life and the favor for me.
